God called Brock to come on staff at YFC Winnipeg straight out of Prairie Bible College in 2006. He had never even heard of YFC before. God orchestrated some connections and gave Brock the opportunity to put my degree and passion for sports ministry into practice, through starting a soccer program here in Winnipeg. Brock was raised in southern Manitoba, but had very few connections in Winnipeg when he started at YFC.

God has since blessed Brock with a beautiful wife, 3 amazing children, and a wonderful church community (Riverwood). The Soccer ministry has grown to reach over 100 youth each year, and has provided a platform to share about the hope we all can find in Jesus. The soccer program is co-ed and is open to youth of all skill levels, and Brock feels excited and blessed to serve many newcomers to Winnipeg in recent years. The program has expanded to serve children ages 7-11, and even has a team of YFC alumni.

In his free time, you might find Brock fishing, camping or cheering on the Jets, Bombers and Packers.
