Caleb is a born-and-raised Manitoban country boy who has a heart to see everyone grow closer to Jesus! Although he did not grow up going to YFC programs he was asked the question by a youth leader, “would you work as a summer student for YFC Carman?” It was a big question. He had no connection to Carman, no experience working with vulnerable youth and knew very little about the programs that happened at such a place. But one thing he did know, he wanted to help people know Jesus. So from the time on he was led by the Lord – through various affirming circumstances and people to believe firmly that this is where the Lord would have him serve. Time and time again he has seen the Lord provide everything he needed to do the job in front of him. Through an intensive year in British Columbia he has gained a certificate in youth work and gathered a few tools to walk alongside young people and help them through difficulties.

He is very passionate about playing guitar and riding bicycle. Much of the summer is spent on two wheels with his many brothers and sisters finding new adventures. Caleb’s family is large enough to make up a sports team for nearly every sport, and has been a huge blessing to him.
