Emily has a Bachelor of Social Work from Booth University College. Feeling a strong calling from God to go into ministry, Emily started her career with the Young Parents Program in June 2022. Emily loves that she gets to freely talk about faith in Jesus while getting to support young parents in a professional role. She has seen God’s guiding hand all along her journey to this point in her career through her education, previous social service roles, and ministry experience!

Emily married her husband, William in August of 2022. They met on a dating app less than a year before. On their first date, they discovered that they were neighbours in an apartment block that Emily moved into four months prior! They had never seen each other before the date and took the fact that they lived two suites away from each other to be a sign from God!

Emily co-hosts a ministry focused podcast with her husband and a friend. She also writes a weekly blog for the podcast ministry and is in charge of its social media posts. Emily loves writing and has written the drafts to a fantasy trilogy. Emily is a youth leader in one of the churches she attends, ministering to youth in grades 6-12. Emily is the youngest of four siblings and is a proud aunt of five.
