YFC Canada
Eunice has a passion to sew seeds, water and nurture what God is growing in people’s lives. Early in her marriage with her husband Rob they were called to become foster parents. They raised foster children together with their 4 biological children on an acreage just south of Winnipeg. Eunice enjoys gardening and visiting her children and grandchildren as they raise the last three teenage foster children. Her local church involvement has been hands-on supporting people as well as prayer ministry.
Eunice was called into the counselling ministry after being a stay at home Mom for a number of years. Formal training rounded out her life experiences. She had a burden for counselling in her home community of Niverville. An opportunity opened up with YFC. She came on staff part-time and started working with Turning Point Youth and Family Counselling Services, a division of YFC early in 2011. The local YFC drop-in has provided a lovely space where she sees clients.
Jesus set the example of living out the love of the Father, validating people and bringing freedom and healing. Eunice has that same desire.
