Steve started with YFC Winnipeg in 2011 as the Ball Hockey director. He then spent 7 years with YFC Canada, serving as a missionary in Zaporozhye, Ukraine. Steve rejoined the YFC Winnipeg team in 2020, and has been serving in the King St. Drop-In and Ball Hockey ministries.

Steve was called to YFC when he felt God leading him to work with youth, and share the hope of Jesus with them. He knew this work would take him different places and have him serving in different roles, and that he would be ready to go wherever God called him.

Steve is married and has three kids. All five of them have been on this journey together of serving the Lord wherever He calls. They love spending time together playing games, sports, walking, watching movies, reading God’s word, and singing His praises!
