Steve began his ministry with YFC in November 2020. In January of 2021 I completed a Computerized Accounting Diploma. After completing this course, Steve felt called to work with a Christian organization in my field of study. He knew of several missionaries involved with YFC, who informed him that YFC was looking for a bookkeeper. Steve met with the Leadership team and believed working with YFC would be a blessing all around. After meeting with the Leadership team, Steve was invited to candidate and become a part of the YFC staff.

Steve is responsible for accounts payable as well as processing donations for missionary support. If you phone the office with a donation related question, it will likely be Steve’s voice you hear on the other end! He helps keep donor information up to date so our accounting system runs smoothly.

In his spare time, Steve is mentoring a number of young men and enjoys teaching them budgeting and finances. He also enjoys golfing in the summer, curling in the winter, and enjoys most types of board games. Steve has a beautiful wife of 26 years of marriage. Their two daughters are grown, both living in Alberta. The eldest is married and loves music and theater and the youngest is pursuing a career, loves staying healthy, and listening to cool music.
