Tiara felt God was calling her to go outside her comfort zone and to step out in faith to use the skills and passions that had been growing in her over the past few years through various jobs and volunteering opportunities.

Tiara is motivated to make a difference in the lives of students coming to YFC and for the ability to use her gifts for God’s kingdom as she serves in the role of Ministry Director for the King Street Drop-In. She hopes to bring joy to all youth that come through the doors of YFC, and think of new ways to reach even more youth.  Tiara wants to ensure the King St. Drop-In has enough diversity in the evening programming so that all youth have an outlet they can use to express themselves and grow meaningful relationships. She strives to be a leader to other staff and volunteers, who calls out the good in them, and gives them the tools they need to feel they can lead well!

Outside of YFC, she volunteers in the children’s ministry, and leads a small group within her church’s youth group (My Church Winnipeg). Tiara, and her husband, love to go on new adventures any chance they get whether it be kayaking, hiking, road trips, or hanging out at her family’s cabin.
