As a program of YFC Winnipeg, Masterworks Dance exists to share the love of Jesus Christ through the joy of dance, creativity, and positive mentorship in a safe and welcoming community. While we love seeing young people grow in their dance skills, our greatest desire is to help them discover their God-given gifts, build confidence, and grow in their relationship with Christ.
Jr. Drop-In
Ages: 8-12
Wednesdays: 6:00pm – 8:00pm

We are excited to offer creative arts activities through our Jr. Drop-In Ministry (part of the King Street Drop-In). As a program of Youth For Christ Winnipeg, the Junior Drop-In exists to share the love of Jesus Christ by creating a welcoming, relaxed environment where young people experience community and caring adult mentorship. Youth will find a safe place where they can be themselves, build healthy relationships, learn new skills, discover their gifts, and simply enjoy spending time together.
Our mission is to see every young person living fully in Christ. We are committed to caring for youth by encouraging growth physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. We desire to see every young person thrive in their interests, passions, and relationships.
At the Junior Drop-In, our staff and volunteers will see the hope and potential in every young person. We intentionally invest in each youth through encouragement, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to grow in character, confidence, and faith. Our hope is that every young person who walks through our doors knows they are welcomed, valued, and deeply loved.
Throughout the year there will be drop-in dance classes every week. When available, we will have guest teachers teach for 8-10 weeks as part of the drop-in dance. See below for the Jr Drop-In schedule.
All youth are welcome and no prior experience is required!

January 13, 2027 – June 9, 2027
Junior Drop-In Schedule
6:00-6:30 – Open Gym (Everyone in the gym)
6:30-7:00 – Pizza/God Talk Time
6:30-7:30 – Masterworks dance drop-in (Attend the Pizza/God Talk move into Masterworks Art Studio)
7:00-8:00 – The Rock, The Rig and The Drop-In are open
