David serves with Youth for Christ as the Cedarwood Camp Director, bringing decades of experience working in the UK, Central Europe and Canada leading teams, developing people, and creating safe, engaging environments where young people can thrive.

David’s background includes directing large residential summer language programs at King’s School in Bournemouth, England, coaching and mentoring student and youth leaders with International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) in the Czech Republic, partnering with churches and community stakeholders to create educational and arts projects with youth across the UK, and building sustainable support through fundraising and relationship development for organizations such as Christian Aid, St John Ambulance and most recently International Justice Mission, Canada.

David is passionate about seeing young people inspired and transformed to be the person God wants them to be, through meaningful camp experiences, exploring and understanding their faith journey and being part of a joyful community. David loves travelling with his wife and two children, trying to communicate in other languages, and philosophizing about ‘The Beautiful Game’ football aka Soccer.
