Dixie Bredin started at YFC Winnipeg in January 2021, a couple years after she moved into the North End of Winnipeg, feeling God’s call to be a light in the community. Dixie grew up serving in people ministry for as long as she can remember in and out of the church. She has a heart for people who are in difficult places and need to hear about the hope Jesus provides. In 2017 she graduated from Lifeteams school of urban outreach where she worked with street entrenched youth and young adults in east Vancouver. She has spent many years working with all aged kids and teens at summer camp as a staff member and director which has stirred her passion for youth ministry.

Dixie loves having fun, playing music, doing any sort of outdoor activity and just being around people as often as possible. She loves getting to do ministry alongside her husband Brett.

As the Work Force Coordinators, Dixie and Brett spend her time doing youth outreach in the North End through mentoring and providing leadership in our Work Force programs. They love being part of the community, serving right where God has planted them.
