Inga began her journey with YFC in South Africa as a teenager in the 80’s, attending national youth camps & events. Youth for Christ greatly impacted her life as a teenager. 

The Raw family moved to Brandon, Manitoba from South Africa in 2019 to serve as pastors. Inga joined the U-turn team at YFC Brandon in 2022 and found a happy space, serving Jesus among the youth.

In January 2023, the Raw family relocated to Winnipeg and her husband, Robert joined the Youth for Christ team as an Accountant. A desire to continue serving youth through the ministry of Youth for Christ Winnipeg led Inga to pursue a part-time role in the ministry.

Inga began her role as a Resource Assistant in January, 2024, and is excited to contribute her skills as a teacher, trainer, coach, and pastoral counsellor to the YFC team. Through her role she hopes to empower and support YFC staff, volunteers, and programs by providing relevant workshops and training that addresses spiritual, mental, and emotional health.

Inga enjoys spending her free time with her husband and adolescent children, painting, singing, reading and in nature – preferably the water. She aims to serve God with intentionality, practicing “presence” and curiosity with others, trusting the power and beauty of the gospel of Jesus Christ would impact her community through her life.
