Jeannette was born in the tiniest country of Central America, El Salvador. She migrated to Winnipeg, Canada in 1996. She grew up attending and accepted Christ in Iglesia Pentecostal Triunfantes en Cristo. She began singing in the church choir, followed by teaching Sunday school. 20+ years later she still serves in this church, currently as the church Secretary-Treasurer. Anyone who knows Jeannette, knows her great passion for Jesus and her passion for giving back to the community, all for the Kingdom of God. Jeannette is happily married to husband Javier and together they have two children. She enjoys spending time with family, church, traveling, exploring the outdoors and taking care of her many, many plants (she can never have enough)!

Jeannette serves as the Food Services Coordinator out of Youth for Christ Winnipeg Activity Centre and supports many of our programs by providing healthy and delicious snacks.
