After getting married and moving to Carman in 2016, Kristina and her husband began volunteering at Friends Community Church, starting and leading a youth group and a young adults group. During this time, they also started volunteering at The Back Door (Carman YFC) because they felt like ministering to the youth of their community was a calling on their lives.

In the fall of 2019 a need arose for Kristina to fill the Female program coordinator position. Even though working for a ministry was never part of her plan, it was a part of God’s, so Kristina stepped out in Faith. She works at creating relationships primarily with youth girls in Carman and host events to further those relationships to hopefully one day introduce them to Jesus.

Kristina’s interests outside of work are gardening and preserves and any sort of crafty project.
