Lydia has always had a heart for helping people in need, so when the opportunity arose to volunteer for YFC Selkirk’s middle school program, she eagerly stepped in. Since beginning to volunteer at YFC in Grade 11, she has seen firsthand the deep need for young people to experience connection with Christ and with a caring community that helps make that possible. 

In her free time, Lydia enjoys spending time with family and friends and learning new skills, such as the guitar, sewing and crochet— anything that keeps her busy. She is excited to see how God will continue to lead and use her as part of His greater plan.
