Millicent Dadok is a student at Providence University College who hails from Nigeria and is an intern counsellor with the Turning Point Counselling ministry here at YFC Winnipeg.

I believe it would be a blessing and honour to sit with and listen to youth as they journey through life and try to find themselves in the world we live in today. I love the vision and mission of YFC and Turning Point Counselling and I am excited to be working here and to be part of a team of people who love God and are committed to His ongoing work in their lives and in the lives of youth.

As a Counsellor, I am honoured to walk alongside people who are struggling and help them journey towards self discovery, hope and healing. I hope that everyone who comes into my office would feel heard and cared for because I believe that God comforts us so that we may comfort others; He heals us in difficult circumstances so that we may have the ability to walk with others who are struggling as well. Just as He comforts and heals me from the inside out, I hope to extend the same comfort to others, with the hope that they may also heal from the inside out.

When I am not at work or school, I enjoy writing, watching movies, and spending time with friends and loved ones.
